September 25, 2010

My eyes snapped open to a beautifully hot sunfilled room at 12 noon after a very late night of webcam naughtiness and an overly moorish bottle of Rosé. Primal instincts took over me (blame the sunshine) and I began to kiss, nibble and suck the pillows of love, which gently rose and fell with each breath. I heard a sweet stirring so glanced up to see a grin the Cheshire Cat would struggle to make. Morning Love was made and very much enjoyed. Details of this are unimportant, it is what happened next which prompted this post.

Tea, hot sweet and milky was arrived. The sofa got it’s first dose of bum for the day. We sat for a few minutes in silence, it was golden. Yes, far too many small sentences. Get to the point man! OK but I just have to say.. this is embarrassing I’d rather give details of the sex, but here goes.

We had a psychic moment, a mind meld, a moment of undeniable synchronicity. Someone from our past, assumed lost to the raging torrent of high culture the eejit box spits out. It was none other than Margarita Pracatan! The Enigma. She invaded our minds, now you can have her too. xx

Pizza Cutter of the Day: “Star Trek Enterprise Pizza Cutter” from ThinkGeek.
Officially licensed collectable. Laser-etched stainless steel blade; solid zinc-alloy chromium plated body.

Space… the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new pizzas, to seek out new toppings and new cheeses, to boldy cut pizza where no man has cut before!

Make it slice.

Perfect birthday gift for your friendly Star Trek-loving, pizza-loving neighbour named Katie West? I think so.

Dentsu London - Making Future Magic: iPad light painting

This film explores playful uses for the increasingly ubiquitous ‘glowing rectangles’ that inhabit the world.

We use photographic and animation techniques that were developed to draw moving 3-dimensional typography and objects with an iPad. In dark environments, we play movies on the surface of the iPad that extrude 3-d light forms as they move through the exposure. Multiple exposures with slightly different movies make up the stop-frame animation.

Oh hey! Apparently MagCloud just implements random sales? So right now there’s a Fall sale and so our magazine is 25% off. Which makes it a very affordable $13.20!
If I would’ve known this was going to happen, I would’ve told all of you to wait! But I had no idea. But if you haven’t bought it yet, now’s a good time!

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?

Today it is soft toy owl made by my girlfriend, yesterday it was a dead beetle found on the street. The Beetle was not Ringo.

First Post “Hello World”

“Hello World” seems the most appropriate greeting for a first post on my first blog.

I’m not entirely sure what will be posted, the frequency of posts, or the height of said posts.

My reason for this blog is limited to “140 characters”. Yes, Twitter! Here I am http://twitter.com/talkinape/ 140 is just not enough for some of my ramblings, rants, over the top praise, general foolishness.

Hope to post some more soon.

Big Love
